However, there might be hope for fans of the games yet as experts feel relatively optimistic about a revival - possibly on the next generation of video game consoles.
To a certain extent I am glad. I mean the series jumped the shark a long time ago and the quality of the song selection has been going downhill ever since 'World Tour'.

exactly my thoughts, guitar hero was really funy before world tour, then it became not so guitar hero and more like rock band...
