Mac & Cheese Sushi

Now that's my kind of sushi roll! Macaroni and cheese with some ground beef and served with ketchup. Authentic Canadian-Japanese fusion cuisine.

Check out the link below if you want to try making this because I skipped a few steps for brevity's sake.

World Map of Breast Sizes

I had a map of average penis sizes a while back and today I stumbled upon this map of average cup sizes by country, which completes the set.

Kudos to the Scandinavian ladies for having the biggest knockers in Europe. Here is the interactive version.

The Big Lebowski 2

As you may or may not have heard, Tara Reid said something in an interview a while back about a Big Lebowski sequel (HollywoodTV). Ethan Coen subsequently stated that there were no plans for that but he was "glad she [was] working on it" (Filmdrunk).

Now FoD have made one of their mock-trailers for Lebowski 2 with Tara Reid playing all the parts.

Match Made In Heaven

That's right, it's a Justin Biber/Slipknot mashup. And it's awesome!

I wasn't going to post it at first because it's just too weird but after a few days of listening to it, I felt I had to.

New Boss In The Office

You've probably all heard that Steve Carell is leaving The Office and it pretty much sounds like the death of the show. NBC, however, is going to continue with the series and at least for four episodes Will Ferrell will become his replacement, appearing for the first time on April 14.

So, maybe there is hope yet. Probably not much, though.

Firefox 4.0

The final release of Firefox 4 came out today. I'm currently giving it a little test drive, although I'm not really going to start using it. I use Opera (How cool am I?).

Also, at least according to Microsoft, when IE9 came out it was downloaded a total of 2.3 Million times in the firts 24 hours.I'm pretty confident Firefox 4 can beat that (just as a reference FF3 was downloaded 8 million times the day it came out).

Dr. Who Mini Episode

This short was shot for the charitable Red Nose Day TV event. It's about 7 minutes of Who to help tide us over until March 23rd, when we'll get new full episodes.

Also, yes, there is a TARDIS in the TARDIS.

Happily Ever After...

Does it ever bug you how fairy tales just cut away in the end and claim they lived happily ever after? It's the same with every other movie, especially the rom-com type. The boy gets the girl and that's the end of the story.

Here are some depictions of what might have happened after the tale has ended. "Fallen Princesses" by Dina Goldstein.

Movie To Premiere On BitTorrent

The Australian Horror Movie project "The Tunnel", which will premiere tomorrow (March 19), is set to be simultaneously released via Torrent.

Partially financed by selling frames for $1, Paramount bought the distribution rights for the DVD, yet apparently they are fine with the Torrent distribution.

Simpsons Medley

You may recognize this dude from some of his previous musical misadventures of video game and TV show theme songs. This time  Fredrik Larsson, which apparently is his name, takes on some of your favourite Simpsons tunes.

The songs are:

 - Happy Birthday, Lisa
 - Baby on Board
 - The Monorail Song
 - We Do (The Stonecutters' Song)
 - Canyonero
 - We're Talkin' Softball
 - Who Needs the Qwik-E-Mart?
 - Mr. Plow

Mario - The Independent Movie

Joe Nicolosi made this awesome trailer for a Super Mario indie film for SXSW. Really makes you wish, they'd make the whole thing, which, of course, is never going to happen. *sigh*

Vertical Lines

This video has been around for a while, but today I it popped up on reddit and thought I'd post it. For those of us who have not yet had the pleasure of seeing it.

The Fantastic Mr Starfox

What if Wes Anderson made a movie based on the Starfox series. I bet this is what it would look like.

The Doctor Is In

We finally have an air date for the 6th season of Doctor Who. So everybody mark your calendars for April 23rd, the Saturday before Easter Sunday.

If you haven't gotten into the new Doctor Who yet, use the time until then to get caught up. You won't regret it. This show is better than Firefly!

Staring At Breasts Is Good For Your Health

Ze Germans did a study and found out, that this is the case. At least for men, I'm not sure what effect it might have on the lady folk

You should spend 10 minutes every day looking at breasts and it will benefit your health. Maybe this means I don't have to give up smoking after all?

Mind-Control Fungus

It sounds unbelievable, but in the Brazilian rain forest there is a kind of fungus, that infests ants and effectively takes over their brain. You can see it in the picture, growing out of the ant's head. It literally  takes control of the ant's body and basically uses it as a mode of transport to a location that is to its liking. There it will kill the ant and live a happy fungus life.

Zombie Ant

It has been found hat there are, in fact, 4 species of fungi which exhibit this kind of behaviour. My friends, methinks the end is nigh.

11 Unfortunate Brand Name Translations

Old Sam Greenspan over on his website 11points has compiled a list of brand names that all have very different meanings in other languages.

He didn't, however, include the most popular one - the Mitsubishi Pajero, which as we all know is Spanish for wanker.

Check out his other lists. They're usually quite entertaining and well-written.

Useless Information

If, like me, you are a friend of random, mostly useless facts, I have just the thing for you. Did you know o.k. stands for 'Oll Korrect', which is 'all correct' in Middle English? Knowing that will most probably never profit me in any way, but it's just fascinating as fuck!
