Best Anti-Theft Device Ever

This is a commercial for German electronics mail order company Conrad. Unfortunately, they only sell the parts you need to build this thing yourself so you'll have to build one yourself. Also, I bet that there's a law against this.



There is a short video showing the making of the device, as well as a list of the necessary parts and some instructions on this site (German). The Downside? All the parts are going to cost you about 780€ ($1,150).

    wow. Thats some sci-fi stuff right there. Is that legal though? To just hang your bike like that from a light pole? if the machine malfunctions, the bike falls? Either way still pretty rad.
