The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Trailer



After the shaky hand-cam version that popped up on Youtube earlier this week, this is the official trailer for the American remake of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. Seriously, have you ever heard of a cam-rip for a trailer?!

Anyway, I'm not usually the biggest fan of this American habit of re-doing everything, but to be honest, the Swedish/German movies kind of sucked. Maybe this one will do the series justice and if you haven't read the books already, I strongly recommend them.

    1st of all Swedish/German movies rock compared to American movies which rely on glitz and flash in lieu of substance and context.

    Foreign movies are raw and seem more realistic. American movies pander too much to the masturbatory fantasies of white teenage males, who arrogantly proclaim crappy American movies to be the best.

    The original Lisbeth Salander just fucked guys, she didn't have relationships with them, but of course American males cannot take rejection so Fincher had to make the male character more relevant ion a sexual context (which he wasn't). Lisbeth had a relationship with her girlfriend whose rapist Lisbeth tortures in an act of revenge.
