While digging for scrap metal, an old woman in Georgia accidentally severed the cable that connects the entire country as well as parts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the internet. Oops...

Egypt is off the Internet

As of last night Egypt has apparently completely unplugged itself from the internet in order to prevent people from using it as a tool to organize their protest against president Mubarak (in office for the past 30 years). Basically the country is cut off from the world.
